We can't wait to meet you this Sunday

Dayspring is blessed with many grandparents...

...And all of their grandkids are unique. But one thing that is probably true about every Dayspring grandparent is that we love our grandkids, and we want to see them in heaven someday!
That won't happen automatically though. So we meet to look at what the Bible says about our role as grandparents, encourage each other to continually learn more about the God who loves and guides us, and support each other with prayer and helpful resources.

Scheduled Meeting Dates:

Join us at Dayspring on the THIRD SUNDAY every OTHER month to enjoy a carry-in meal and share information and resources to help us achieve these three purposes.
And one more thing... This is not a senior citizen's group! Grandparents- or anyone who loves, teaches, or mentors young people - of all ages are welcome!
No registration needed.

The Dayspring Grandparents Group exists to:

Look at what the Bible says about our role as grandparents. Are we merely fun older folks who provide babysitting and cookies as a culture expects? We definitely do that, but the Bible says we have a very significant role in the spiritual training of our children and grandchildren. What does it look like to be an intentional Christian grandparent today?

Encourage each other to continue to be discipled ourselves so that we can disciple others. Our grandkids are bombarded with hard questions about faith and identity every day. How will we answer them unless we keep learning from the One who has the answers?

Support and pray for each other. As the body of Christ, we support each other, rejoice with each other, weep with each other, and pray for each other.
